Victron Multi RS Solar 48/6000/100-450/100 Applications For hybrid and self-sufficient installations where the inverter, battery charger, and solar charger must be integrated into a single unit. High-frequency technology delivers 6 kVA from over twelve kilograms, with high efficiency, low standby consumption, and very quiet operation. Two independent MPPT trackers Two trackers of 3 kWp each, totaling 6 kWp PV capacity, with an MPPT operating voltage range of 65 to 450 V and a maximum open-circuit voltage of 450 V. Each array has its own positive and negative MC4 terminal. The maximum PV voltage must not exceed eight times the trickle charge voltage of the battery bank. Operating modes * Hybrid mode: stores excess PV energy in the battery bank for nighttime use or peak moments. * Backup mode: switches over in the event of a grid power interruption. * Self-sufficient mode: operates without a grid connection. * Generator mode: minimizes operating hours and supplements deficits from the battery bank. * PV inverter mode: operates as a PV inverter without a battery bank, so that storage can be added later. PowerControl and PowerAssist Set the maximum grid or generator current; charging is performed only with what remains, so that the source does not become overloaded. In the event of short-term peaks, the battery bank immediately supplements the deficit, and the excess power is then used again for charging. Power The continuous output power at 25 °C increases linearly from 4600 W at 46 V DC to 5200 W at 52 V DC, with 4500 W at 40 °C and 3000 W at 65 °C. Peak power 9 kW for 3 seconds and 7 kW for 4 minutes. Efficiency 96.5% at 1 kW load and 94% at 5 kW. Two AC outputs AC-out-1 operates uninterrupted. AC-out-2 is directly connected to the AC input and intended for non-critical loads; this load is taken into account by PowerControl and PowerAssist. Battery charger Adjustable charging voltage range from 36 to 60 V, standard absorption 57.6 V and trickle charge 55.2 V. Maximum 88 A from AC at 57.6 V DC and 100 A DC combined from AC and PV together. Battery temperature sensor included, battery voltage sensor present. Empty battery shutdown at 37.2 V and restart at 43.6 V, both adjustable. Expandable PV capacity The built-in 6 kWp can be expanded with separate PV chargers on the DC side or with AC-coupled PV inverters, whose output power is automatically regulated via the integrated frequency shift. Display, Bluetooth and VictronConnect The built-in display shows battery, inverter, and PV parameters. The same values can be retrieved via Bluetooth using a smartphone or tablet in the VictronConnect app, which is also used to change settings and update firmware. Communication and I/O: VE.Can for connection to a GX communication center, energy meter, data logging, and remote firmware updates; VE.Direct for a GlobalLink 520. Furthermore, two programmable analog/digital ports, a programmable relay, connections for temperature and voltage sensors, and a remote on/off input. The system can be monitored via a GX device in the VRM Portal – Victron Energy (https://vrm.victronenergy.com). 3-phase operation: 3-phase operation is supported with one unit per phase.
