Victron Temperature Sensor Quattro, MultiPlus & Venus GX Victron Temperature Sensor for Quattro, MultiPlus, and GX devices Wireped battery temperature sensor that attaches directly to the battery terminal and transmits the measured temperature to a MultiPlus, Quattro, or GX device. This temperature-compensates the charging voltage, allowing the charger to adjust charging behavior for hot or cold batteries. Cable length 1.5 meters. Applications A battery operating at 40°C in the summer and 5°C in the winter requires two different charging voltages. Without temperature measurement, your system charges at a single fixed value all year round — resulting in capacity loss or gassing. This sensor costs just a few tens of euros and gets years of extra life out of a battery bank.
