DC Modular 1x M10 Single Clamp This insulated single clamp from the DC Modular range features one M10 terminal bolt on a high-purity tinned copper base plate. The clamp is intended for extending a cable, creating a branch, or finishing an end point, and can be daisy-chained to other DC Modular products using connection plates. Applications Not every connection belongs on a distribution rail. For extending a battery cable, a single branch, or a neatly finished end point, this clamp is the right size: insulated, covered, and with the option to connect a busbar later if the installation grows. * Extending a battery cable at a fixed, covered location * Creating a branch from a main cable * Neatly finishing the end point of a cable run * Expanding an existing DC Modular setup Construction and materials * Base plate made of high-purity tinned copper for low contact resistance * Bolt, washers, and nut made of stainless steel * Fiber-reinforced plastic base, resistant to high temperatures and chemicals * Transparent cover with break-off sides for cable entry from any direction Grid setup and coupling With a 1 x 1 grid size, this is the most compact module in the series. Because all DC Modular products have the same terminal height, you connect the terminal to a busbar or to a second terminal using a connecting plate to form a single continuous distribution. Assembly and torque Assemble in this order: cable lugs, flat washer, spring washer, nut. Never place a washer between the base plate and the cable lug, between two cable lugs on the same bolt, or between the cable lug and the connecting plate. Tightening torque 22 N·m for M10. Ensure sufficient strain relief on the cables and tighten the thumbscrews on the cap only hand-tight.
