Anyone working on board with a starter battery and a consumer battery wants to be able to choose which bank powers the system with a single button. This switch connects the consumers to battery bank 1 or battery bank 2 and has an off position in between, allowing the entire system to be de-energized in one movement. Three positions: 1, off, and 2. The fixed button has three positions. In position 1 or 2, the selected battery bank is switched to all consumers; in the off position, the system is de-energized. The make-before-break contact design ensures that switching between the banks occurs without interruption of power, so that connected electronics do not fail. Load capacity. The continuous load capacity is 325 A, with 600 A for 5 minutes and 1200 A for 30 seconds for starting. The switching capacity under load is 25 A and the maximum voltage is 32 VDC, suitable for 12V and 24V systems. Ignition-protected and IP66 The switch is ignition-protected according to ISO 8846 and SAE J1171, making it safe on board petrol-powered boats. The housing is IP66 and further certified according to UL 1107 and UL 1500, with CE marking. Connection and mounting The connection bolts are 3/8"-16" (M10) made of tinned copper, to be tightened to 15.82 Nm. The cable passage is suitable for 4/0" AWG (120 mm²). The housing allows mounting flush, on a front panel, or behind a panel; the mounting holes accommodate 1/4" (M6) screws. An insulating cover with snap-on parts protects the contacts on the rear.
