In an installation with separate starter and consumer batteries, you want to be able to disconnect both banks with a single action, without the banks connecting to each other. This version from the e-series switches two separate battery banks simultaneously, with ample margin on the starting current. Two separate circuits, one button. The switch has two battery inputs and switches both circuits on or off simultaneously. The banks remain isolated from each other during this process. Load capacity per circuit. The load capacity per circuit is 350 A continuously, 525 A for 5 minutes, and 700 A for 30 seconds. The switching capacity under load is 25 A. The maximum voltage is 32 VDC, making the switch suitable for 12V and 24V installations. Ignition-protected and IP66. The switch is ignition-protected according to ISO 8846 and SAE J1171, making it safe on board petrol-powered boats. The housing is IP66 and further certified according to UL 1107 and UL 1500, with CE marking. Connecting and mounting The connection bolts are 3/8"-16" (M10) made of tinned copper, to be tightened to 15.82 Nm. The cable passage is suitable for 4/0 AWG (120 mm²). The housing allows mounting flush or behind a panel; the mounting holes accommodate 1/4" (M6) screws.
