Carlo Gavazzi 100 A measuring coil, split core. Split current transformer from the CTA 5X series, with a primary current of 100 A and a secondary output of 5 A. The core clicks open, allowing the measuring coil to be placed around an existing wire without disconnecting the wiring. Intended for use with energy meters that have a 5 A current input. Applications: In an existing distribution system, disconnecting the main wires is the most expensive and riskiest part of meter installation. With a split core, you simply click the measuring coil around it — without interrupting the power supply, without disassembly.
