Carlo Gavazzi Measuring Coil 150 A, Split Core Split current transformer from the CTA 5X series, with a primary current of 150 A and a secondary output of 5 A. The core clicks open, allowing the measuring coil to be placed around an existing wire without disconnecting the wiring. Intended for use with energy meters that have a 5 A current input. Applications For connections around 150 A, direct measurement is usually no longer an option, and current transformers must be used. With a split core, no wire needs to be disconnected for this: click open, place around the cable, click shut.
