Carlo Gavazzi 200 A measuring coil, split core. Split current transformer from the CTA 5X series, with a primary current of 200 A and a secondary output of 5 A. The core clicks open, allowing the measuring coil to be placed around an existing wire without disconnecting the wiring. Intended for use with energy meters that have a 5 A current input. Applications: With heavier connections, the main current always flows through measuring coils. Normally, this means: disconnecting wires, feeding them through, and reconnecting them — in a cabinet that often offers hardly any space.
