Carlo Gavazzi Measuring Coil 250 A, Solid Core. Closed-core current transformer for through-hole mounting, with a primary current of 250 A and a secondary output of 5 A. Accuracy class 0.5 and a measuring capacity of 2 VA. Intended for energy meters with a 5 A current input. This is the heaviest solid-core version in our range. Applications: For large-scale consumption, you no longer measure directly: the main current flows through a measuring coil and the measurement is performed via the secondary circuit. With 250 A, this version covers most large-scale consumption connections, and with class 0.5, the measurement remains accurate enough to allocate costs.
