Connection Plate 2 x 4-Way This connection plate electrically connects individual DC Modular busbars and insulated terminals. Because all products in the DC Modular range have the same connection height, you can create a continuous connection without custom fitting. This version features two rows of four connection points and fits both M8 and M10 bolts. Applications A DC distribution system usually grows along with the installation: first two terminals, then an additional busbar, followed by a second row. With connection plates, you build this up without separate jumper cables, in a grid layout that makes optimal use of the available cabinet space. As a result, they fit together tightly, allowing you to utilize cabinet space efficiently. The connection plates are available in three sizes, all of which fit M8 and M10. Assembly sequence: Place the connection plate directly on the bolt, then the cable lugs, then the flat washer, the spring washer, and the nut. Never place a washer between the busbar and the connection plate or between the cable lug and the connection plate: this increases the contact resistance and thus the heat generation. Tightening torque 13 N·m for M8 and 22 N·m for M10.
