The cable clicks onto the MiniPlug chassis connector at the front of the vehicle and powers a battery charger, heater, or cooling unit located behind it. Connection voltage 250 V AC, 16 A. Suitable for 230 V mains voltage and certified up to 250 V AC. The manufacturer specifies a 16 A fuse; therefore, the conductor cross-section of 3×2.5 mm² does not increase the load capacity but limits voltage drop over the 10-meter cable length. Connectable to the DEFA MiniPlug chassis connector. The vehicle side features the DEFA MiniPlug connector, also called EcoPlug by DEFA, which fits exclusively onto the DEFA MiniPlug chassis connector (inlet cable). Do not use other connection cables on that chassis connector; on the mains side, connect only to a grounded socket. Construction Orange jacket with three 2.5 mm² conductors, 10 meters long, with a protective cap on the MiniPlug connector. The MiniPlug side has an IP44 protection rating and the cable is certified according to EN 50066-1 and EN 60309-1. This version is the Regular version; DEFA also supplies a Marine version. Installation and maintenance Lay the cable so that it does not get pinched under the hood or in a door; damaged insulation is the main cause of failure.
