Inverter 110/3000 Premium

For installations with a 110-volt DC battery bank: rail vehicles, telecom and switching stations, emergency power systems, and heavy industrial machinery. Delivers clean mains voltage for sensitive electronics, even at high ambient temperatures and under prolonged vibration loads. Pure sine wave, 3000 W continuous. This DC/AC converter converts 110 Vdc to 230 Vac with a pure sine wave. The continuous output power is 3000 W with harmonic distortion of less than 2% and load regulation of less than 4%. This allows even non-linear and sensitive loads to run without problems. Efficiency reaches up to 92%. The output frequency is set to 50 or 60 Hz using a dip switch. Wide input range. The permissible input range extends from 77 to 138 Vdc, ensuring the converter continues to operate with a deeply discharged or fully charged battery bank. The undervoltage protection trips at 76.9 Vdc (after 0.1 s) and immediately at 65.9 Vdc; at the upper end, this occurs at 138.6 and 154.1 Vdc respectively. This ensures the battery bank remains protected against deep discharge. Galvanically isolated Input and output are galvanically isolated with an isolation voltage of 3000 Vrms. Between output and ground, this is 1500 Vrms, and between input and ground, 500 Vrms. Consequently, a fault on the mains side does not propagate to the battery bank. Protections * Overload protection on current and I²t * Short-circuit protection with tripping after 1000 ms * After tripping, the device attempts to restart every 2 seconds, up to five times; If the overload persists, the inverter remains off until the input is reconnected * Temperature protection with warning at 88 °C and shutdown at 92 °C, with automatic recovery * Adjustable shutdown for low input voltage RS232, remote inhibit and alarm contact Via the DB9 port (19200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit), you read input voltage, output voltage, current, and temperature, and set frequency, power, and current alarms. The manufacturer's free PAM Tool software displays this graphically. A remote input switches off the inverter as soon as 14.4 to 137.5 Vdc is applied to it; the input impedance is greater than 22.5 kΩ. Potential-free alarm contacts are located on a Phoenix Contact MC1.5/4-G-3.81 connector. Locally, you can see the status via a green LED for "output OK" and a red LED in case of an alarm. Robust and Rail-Approved The inverter is built for harsh conditions and tested according to EN 50155:2021 and EN 50121-3-2:2016 for rail vehicles. The material is approved according to EN 45545-2 for fire and smoke behavior and safety according to EN 62368-1. At full load, the inverter operates from -40 to +55 °C (EN 50155 OT2) and at 62.5% load up to +70 °C (OT4). The MTBF is 100,000 hours according to MIL-HDBK-217-E. Connection and Mounting Connect the battery to M6 terminals with a tightening torque of 6 Nm; the output cable may be up to 4 mm². Cooling is provided by a controlled internal fan; keep at least 50 mm of clearance around the device.
