Applications For berths where the shore power cabinet is located a considerable distance away or the vessel is moored on the outside of the jetty. The extension cord connects to the CEE side, ensuring the boat plug with bayonet ring remains in place and the onboard connection remains untouched. CEE to CEE Both ends are CEE: a molded 3-pin plug on one side and a molded coupling on the other. This allows you to slide this cord between the shore power cabinet and the existing shore power cable system. It is not a replacement for a shore power cable system: the MP bayonet side for the shore power input is missing. Note the total length A twenty-five-meter extension adds to the length of the existing cable system. With 2.50 mm² and a full 16A load, the voltage drop across the entire system increases significantly. Calculate the routing before connecting two long cords, or choose a heavier cross-section on the shore side. Voltage indication on the coupling The coupling indicates whether there is voltage on the cable, so you can see if shore power is active without measuring. When the extension is not in use, the waterproof protective cover seals the coupling against moisture and dirt. PUR sheath The yellow PUR sheath (H07BQ-F) is wear-resistant and resistant to cold, UV, and the effects of oil and grease. The cable remains flexible at low temperatures, does not leave marks on the deck, and withstands chafing against the dock edge and gangway.
