Applications For vessels requiring more from shore than just a battery charger: boiler, air conditioning, or hob in addition to standard consumers. Fifteen meters is the standard length in most marinas, without any excess loop on the jetty. 25 A on 4 mm² At Ratio, the cross-section of 4.00 mm² is the recommended size for 25 A. Over fifteen meters, this ensures the voltage drop remains well within the margin, even when the installation is under full load for extended periods. For 32 A, 6.00 mm² is required; for 16 A, 2.50 mm² suffices. PUR sheath The yellow PUR sheath (H07BQ-F) is wear-resistant, oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404, and resistant to cold and UV. The cable remains flexible at low temperatures, does not stain the deck, and withstands chafing against the jetty edge and gangway. Injection-molded connectors Both sides are injection-molded, making the connection watertight and extending the service life. The boat plug features a bayonet ring that locks the connection to the shore power input, a voltage indicator, and a protective cover for when the cable is not in use. On the shore side, there is a CEE plug.
