The IP56 version remains sealed in a wet cockpit or an exposed installation position. Chrome finish on plastic The housing is made of polyamide with a matte chrome finish: the lightweight and corrosion resistance of plastic, with the appearance of metal. Those who prefer solid metal choose the stainless steel version; those seeking the lowest price choose the white plastic version. Waterproof bayonet lock The shore power cable is locked with a quarter turn. This bayonet lock prevents the connection from coming loose due to movement or tensile stress and seals the contact surface.
