Applications For berths where the shore power box is just too far away and the existing cable system does not reach. The extension cord connects to the CEE side, ensuring the boat plug with bayonet ring stays in place and the connection on board remains untouched. CEE to CEE Both ends are CEE: a molded 3-pin plug on one side, and a molded coupling on the other. This allows you to slide this cord between the shore power box and the existing shore power cable system, or between two extension cords. It is not a replacement for a shore power cable system: the MP bayonet side for the shore power input is not included. Voltage indication on the coupling The coupling indicates whether there is voltage on the cable, allowing you to see if shore power is active without measuring. When the extension is not in use, the waterproof protective cover seals the coupling against moisture and dirt. PUR sheath The yellow PUR sheath (H07BQ-F) is wear-resistant and resistant to cold, UV, and the effects of oil and grease. The cable remains flexible at low temperatures, does not leave marks on the deck, and withstands chafing against the jetty edge and gangway.
