Applications For larger yachts and work vessels where the boiler, air conditioning, hob, and chargers must run simultaneously from shore. Fifteen meters spans most berths where the shore power cabinet is located close to the vessel, without an unnecessary loop on the jetty. 50 A over the full length At Ratio, the conductor cross-section of 10 mm² is the recommended size for 50 A up to a cable length of 25 meters. With fifteen meters, the voltage drop thus remains well within the margin, even when the installation is under full load for extended periods. PUR sheath The yellow PUR sheath (H07BQ-F) is wear-resistant and resistant to cold, UV, and the effects of oil and grease. That is the difference compared to a rubber sheath: the cable remains flexible at low temperatures, does not leave marks on the deck, and withstands chafing against the jetty edge and gangway. Tie-on connectors Whereas the MP16 and MP32 cable sets have molded plugs, the connectors of the MP50 version are screw-on. The boat side features a bayonet ring that locks the connection to the shore power input watertight, plus a voltage indicator and a protective cover for when the cable is not in use.
