The heavier core limits voltage drop, which is crucial over fifty meters: otherwise, the boiler, air conditioning, and battery charger running simultaneously would noticeably lower the voltage on board. A larger cross-section is required for 50 A. PUR sheath The yellow PUR sheath (H07BQ-F) is wear-resistant, oil-resistant according to IEC 60811-404, and resistant to cold and UV. The cable remains flexible at low temperatures, does not stain the deck, and withstands chafing against the jetty edge and gangway. Injection-molded connectors Both sides are injection-molded, making the connection watertight and extending its lifespan. The boat plug features a bayonet ring that locks the connection to the shore power input, a voltage indicator, and a protective cover for when the cable is not in use.
