What is the Shelly Pro 3EM Switch Add-on? The Shelly Pro 3EM Switch Add-on is a galvanically isolated switching module that expands the capabilities of the Shelly Pro 3EM series with a potential-free relay output. This allows you to switch a contactor or other electrical load from your Pro 3EM installation. Compatibility * Only for use with Shelly Pro 3EM and Pro 3EM 3CT63. * DIN rail mounting, coupled to the Shelly Pro 3EM. Switching with potential-free relay (dry contact) The Add-on contains a potential-free relay (“dry contact”) that allows you to switch loads up to a maximum of 2 A. The maximum switching voltage is 240 V AC or 30 V DC. This makes the module suitable for switching a contactor coil or other suitable loads. Connections & indication * I = load circuit input, O = load circuit output * LED indication: Power (power supply present) and Out (relay contact closed) * Internal temperature sensor for detection/reporting Power supply & consumption The Add-on is powered by the Shelly Pro 3EM (3.3 V and 12 V) and has a power consumption of < 1 W. Safety information Caution: high voltage is present on the expansion interface when the system is powered. Have the installation performed by a qualified installer.
