Compact rigid panel for camper, boat, tiny house, or shed roofs, precisely where available roof space is limited. The narrow design fits between hatches and skylights, and the shingled cell structure limits loss in diffuse light. Also suitable as an extension. Shingled monocrystalline cells The panel is constructed from 33 A-grade monocrystalline cells of 168 mm in a shingled configuration (3 x 11). The cells overlap and are connected at the front without busbars, allowing more active cell surface to fit within the same dimensions. The cell efficiency is 22.8%. Electrical properties * Peak power 115 Wp with a power tolerance of ±3 % * 22.6 V and 5.09 A at maximum power, 26.4 V open circuit voltage and 5.34 A short circuit current * Power temperature coefficient −0.38 %/°C * Maximum system voltage 1000 V DC (IEC) Connect the panel to an MPPT charge controller. This converts the higher panel voltage to the charging voltage of a 12 V battery bank and extracts the maximum performance from the panel even at low irradiance. Multiple panels in series or parallel expand the system within the limits of the chosen charge controller. Junction box and cabling The junction box is IP65 rated and contains two bypass diodes, which limit power loss when part of the panel is shaded. A 900 mm 4 mm² connection cable with MC4-compatible connectors is fitted as standard, allowing the panel to be directly integrated into existing MC4 cabling. Installation The anodized aluminium frame allows for installation using bolt or adhesive connections. On metal and plastic roofs, the panels are typically glued using mounting brackets and spoilers, requiring no roof penetrations other than the one for the cable. On a flat surface or shed roof, a mounting kit with rails is the usual choice.
