A solar panel has two cables, positive and negative. With this double cable gland, both pass through a single opening to enter, neatly and watertight. One hole in the roof instead of two, and one adhesive seam for maintenance. Also suitable for an antenna or charging cable alongside the solar cable. When using ABS products such as spoilers and roof feed-throughs, it is recommended to use Sikaflex 552 AT in combination with Sika Aktivator 205 30ml for reliable adhesion. Two cables, one feed-through. The feed-through features two PG13.5 cable glands. The cables pass through the glands, you tighten them, and the penetration is sealed. You glue the housing itself to the roof or deck. This ensures the feed-through remains watertight, even with standing water or high-pressure cleaning. Wide adhesive edge. The wide, flat adhesive edge all around provides a large bonding surface and distributes the load across the roof surface. As a result, the connection is less susceptible to the movement of the roof due to temperature changes. ABS: color-stable and UV-resistant. The roof feed-through is made of ABS plastic and, according to the manufacturer, is permanently watertight and color-stable. Therefore, it will not yellow after a few summers on the roof. Bonding to ABS. For ABS products such as roof feed-throughs and spoilers, we recommend Sikaflex 552 AT in combination with Sika Aktivator-205. The activator prepares the ABS surface for bonding; the construction adhesive then ensures a permanent, elastic, and watertight connection. Degrease and activate both the feed-through and the roof surface, and ensure that the adhesive edge runs along the full perimeter.
