Applications For dinghies, yachts, and workboats up to 24 meters where the shore power input is connected directly to a connection point just behind the hull. The included 0.4-meter cable eliminates the need to tap into terminals or cable glands. Input with molded connection cable Unlike an input with screw terminals, a 0.4-meter cable is permanently attached to the rear. This saves installation time behind a hard-to-reach hull or paneling and eliminates the risk of an incorrectly or too loosely tightened clamp. The connection is then made at an easily accessible location in the installation. Stainless steel The stainless steel version with a lockable lid is resistant to salt water, UV radiation, and the mechanical stress of daily use. The lid seals the input as long as no cable is connected. Waterproof bayonet lock The shore power cable is locked with a quarter turn. This bayonet lock prevents the connection from coming loose due to movement or tensile stress and seals the contact surface. The input is not compatible with standard CEE connectors and works exclusively with shore power cables and plugs with the corresponding bayonet. Safety and standards The input complies with ISO 13297 for electrical installations on pleasure craft with a hull length of up to 24 meters. Protection degree IP56: dustproof and resistant to powerful water jets. The nominal voltage of 250 V AC makes the input suitable for 230 V onboard installations.
