Thanks to the built-in heating, charging remains possible even when it is freezing, ensuring the battery continues to function fully in winter instead of stalling. Heating for cold installations A standard LiFePO4 battery must not be charged below 0°C. This version features a built-in heating system that brings the cells up to temperature, allowing charging to continue even below freezing. This makes the battery suitable for placement outside the heated building envelope. LiFePO4 with 95% usable capacity The lithium iron phosphate cells deliver 100 Ah at 51.2 V, or 5.12 kWh. With a depth of discharge of 95%, virtually the entire capacity is usable. The manufacturer specifies more than 6,000 lifecycles and a design lifespan of more than ten years. Parallel expansion This version features four DIP switches for addressing, allowing up to 16 modules to be connected in parallel. The manual contains the corresponding switch positions per module.
