After the demonstration model was successfully presented at HISWA and a buyer for the Ozare 6.5 was found, it turned out that the original hull on the exhibition floor was damaged. In order to deliver a vessel of perfect quality to the customer, it was decided to print an entirely new hull. This presented a significant logistical and technical challenge: the planned press event for the official handover had already been scheduled. Robust-MT Marine Technology BV was tasked with fully completing the technical construction of the brand-new hull within an extremely short timeframe and delivering it seaworthy.
Customer's wish
The clients' primary goal was to have the new hull ready in time for the press introduction. The presentation and sea trials were scheduled for Thursday afternoon, March 14, in Lathum. The requirements for this rush project included:
Complete reassembly of the technical installations
All components from the HISWA boat had to be carefully dismantled, inspected, and installed into the new hull.
Operational reliability for the press
The installation had to function flawlessly immediately after delivery under the watchful eye of the maritime media.
Sleek visual finish
Since the vessel would be photographed and filmed in detail at the press event, a high-quality finish of the wiring and dashboard was required.
