The new ePropulsion digital steering eliminates the need for a steering cable or pneumatic steering system. The new ePropulsion X-series outboard motors steer via digital 'steer-by-wire'. A separate steering motor in the outboard motor is controlled via the communication cables.

The ePropulsion G102-100 battery is designed for the I-series electric inboard motors. It is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. With 10,240 Wh and 96V, it is suitable for all motors in the ePropulsion I-series. The battery is 70% lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries and has three times the energy density.

The G102-100 battery will be available from April 2023.
