VE.Can to CAN-bus BMS type A 5.0m Applications For installations where a lithium battery from another brand needs to communicate with a Victron system. Five meters bridges the distance between a battery bank in the engine room and a GX device at the panel, without intermediate coupling. Type A or Type B There are two versions, which look identical but differ in the pin assignment on the battery side. Type A is intended for BYD B-Box, Hubble Lithium, and the Pylontech models with a C suffix, among others. If you choose the wrong version, no communication will be established. Always check the battery brand's manual. What the connection provides Via this connection, the GX device reads data from the battery management system: voltage, current, state of charge, and temperature. This allows DVCC to operate, and the system controls the charger and inverter based on the limits specified by the battery itself, rather than on fixed settings.
