Victron AGM Battery 12V/38Ah Victron AGM Battery 12V/38Ah Suitable for smaller battery banks in motorhomes, boats, and work vehicles, and for backup power supplies with substantial peak loads. The flat copper terminals carry high currents without the need for separate battery terminals. Flat-plate AGM for cyclic use The flat plates with fiberglass mat retain the electrolyte. The battery can be installed in any position except upside down and is designed for repeated deep discharge and recharge. Low internal resistance The low internal resistance makes the battery suitable for applications with high current draw, such as inverters, winches, and jump start assistance. Flat copper terminals The flat copper terminals are provided with holes for M8 bolts. The large contact surface limits contact resistance; separate battery terminals or clamps are not required. Very low self-discharge Self-discharge remains below 2% per month at 20°C. As a result, the battery remains usable for a long time even without intermediate charging, for example during winter storage. Charging The recommended absorption voltage is 14.6 to 14.9 V and the trickle charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 V. The maximum charging current is 0.2 C, or 7.6 A for this battery. Sealed and maintenance-free The VRLA construction is completely sealed. Adding water is not possible and not necessary. The housing is made of fire-retardant ABS.
