Victron AGM battery Super cycle 12V/230Ah (M8) Victron AGM battery Super cycle 12V/230Ah (M8) The largest in the Super Cycle series, for household batteries that are deeply discharged daily: charter ships, expedition vessels, rental units, and off-grid homes. Also suitable as a basis for a 24V or 48V battery in series. Built for full discharge The Super Cycle series tolerates a minimum of 300 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, 700 cycles at 60%, and 1,000 cycles at 40%. For comparison: a standard Deep Cycle battery is specified up to 80% discharge. This is the version for installations where the battery is systematically discharged. Resistant to sulfation The plates are designed not to soften or sulfate after repeated deep discharge. As a result, the usable capacity remains at a consistent level even after hundreds of full cycles. M8 Threaded Inserts The copper terminals are equipped with an M8 threaded insert. The cable lug is secured with a single bolt, without a through-bolt and without a nut on the underside. This saves space and installation time with heavy cables. Low Internal Resistance The low internal resistance makes the battery suitable for applications with high current draw, such as inverters of a few kilowatts, bow thrusters, and winches. Charging During normal cyclic use, the absorption voltage is 14.2 to 14.6 V; for the fastest recharge, 14.6 to 14.9 V. The trickle charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 V, and the storage voltage is 13.2 to 13.5 V. The temperature compensation is -24 mV/°C. Closed and Maintenance-Free The VRLA construction is completely sealed. Adding water is not possible and not necessary. The battery is delivered charged and is ready for immediate use.
