Victron Battery monitor BMV-710H Smart
Victron Battery Monitor BMV-710H Smart Victron BMV-710H Smart Battery Monitor The BMV-710H Smart is the high-voltage version of the Victron Energy BMV battery monitor with built-in Bluetooth, intended for systems with a battery voltage of 60 to 385 VDC. The device measures battery voltage and current and calculates the state of charge, consumed ampere-hours, and remaining runtime from this. Reading and setting can be done on the display as well as directly via the VictronConnect app; a dongle is not required. Due to the high voltage, the included 500 A / 50 mV shunt is housed in a separate enclosure. Applications With a high-voltage battery pack, you don't want to need a screwdriver to change settings. With onboard Bluetooth, you can read everything and adjust the configuration from your phone, at a safe distance from the pack. Furthermore, it offers the same measurement accuracy as the rest of the BMV series, up to 385 VDC and without additional components. * Electric drive and marine propulsion * Large off-grid packages of 96 V, 144 V, or higher * Industrial DC systems and traction packages * Installations where remote operation of the package is desired Bluetooth and the VictronConnect app Bluetooth is built-in. Via the app, you can read all measured values, change settings, view the history, and update the firmware. The Bluetooth function can be switched off and on again, and the PIN code can be changed. What it shows * Battery voltage, current, and power * Ampere-hours consumed, state of charge, and remaining runtime * History: deepest discharge, average discharge, number of cycles, total charged and discharged kWh The voltage readout resolution is ± 0.01 V up to 100 V and ± 0.1 V above that. With the supplied shunt, the current range is from -500 to +500 A. Important: only with grounded negative terminal. The battery monitor is not galvanically isolated from the shunt and is therefore only suitable for systems with a grounded negative terminal. Take this into account in the design before deploying the device in a high-voltage installation. Alternative shunts. The monitor operates with the supplied 500 A / 50 mV shunt but can be configured for different shunts up to 10,000 A. Connection and expansion. The monitor can be connected to a GX device via the VE.Direct port, after which the data is available locally and via the VRM portal. The monitor can participate in VE.Smart networking. Programmable relay. The relay (60 V / 1 A, normally open, reversible) switches based on low charge state, low voltage, or high voltage. This allows, for example, a charger to be started or a load to be switched off before the battery pack discharges too much. Alarms can be set individually, including a buzzer. Installation The display unit is mounted flush with a panel; included are a round display unit, a square cover bezel, and a screw ring. The shunt, inside its housing, is the only component connected to the negative terminal of the battery pack; all consumers and chargers connect to the other side.
