Victron Battery Monitor BMV-712 Smart black

Victron Battery Monitor BMV-712 Smart Black The BMV-712 Smart battery monitor in black measures with very high precision within a supply voltage range of 6.5 – 70 VDC. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate the battery status and the number of Ampere-hours consumed. The BMV-712 battery monitor displays, optionally, the battery voltage, current, consumed Ampere-hours, remaining battery capacity, and remaining time. These last two parameters ensure that you can read the remaining battery capacity just as precisely as the remaining capacity at a gas station. An advanced backlit LCD screen clearly displays all values. Built-in Bluetooth With built-in Bluetooth, the BMV Smart is ready for the Internet of Things (IoT) era. Because Bluetooth is implemented in most other Victron Energy products, wireless communication between the products will simplify system installation and improve performance. Download the Victron Bluetooth app. Use a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device to: > adjust settings > monitor all important data on a single screen > view historical data > update the software when new features become available. Easy to install. All electrical connections are made using the quick-connect printed circuit board to the current shunt. The shunt is connected to the display using a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included: RJ12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m); no other parts are required. Also included are a separate ring for the appearance of the front of a square or round display, a retaining ring for rear mounting, and screws for front mounting. Midpoint voltage monitoring. A large, expensive battery bank can fail due to a single faulty cell or battery. If batteries are connected in series, a timely warning can be generated by measuring the midpoint voltage. See the BMV manual, section 5.2, for more information. We recommend a Battery Balancer to maximize the lifespan of series-connected lead-acid batteries. Very low battery current consumption. Current consumption: 0.7 Ah per month (1 mA) at 12V and 0.6 Ah per month (0.8 mA) at 24V. Lithium-ion batteries, in particular, have virtually no remaining reserve capacity once they are discharged down to the low-voltage shutdown. After shutdown due to low cell voltage, the remaining capacity of a lithium-ion battery is approximately 1 Ah per 100 Ah of battery capacity. The battery will be damaged if the remaining reserve capacity is drawn from it. For example, a residual current of 10 mA can damage a 200 Ah battery if the system remains in a discharged state for more than 8 days. Bi-stable alarm relay. Prevents higher current consumption in the event of an alarm. We would be happy to provide you with more information about this product. Please contact us contact join us.
