Setup is wireless, without removing the module or searching for a programming pen. What the Smart version adds Bluetooth is built-in. With VictronConnect, you freely set the switching thresholds and read the status with Instant Readout, without pairing. Those who prefer to work without an app can choose from nine fixed levels using the programming pen. What battery protection does A battery that is discharged too deeply loses capacity and sometimes its entire lifespan. The module monitors the battery voltage and disconnects non-essential consumers before it gets to that point, or sooner, so that enough remains to start the engine. Spark-free switching Switching is performed using MOSFETs instead of a mechanical relay contact. Therefore, there is no sparking and no contact wear, which is important in areas where battery gases may linger.
