Victron Blue Smart IP67 Battery Charger 12/25 (1+Si) CEE 7/7 The Victron BlueSmart IP67 12V 12A (1+Si) water-resistant battery charger CEE 7/7 is intended for charging 12V battery systems from 230VAC. The charging current of this charger is 25A according to a five-stage adaptive intelligent charging algorithm, allowing 12V battery systems with a battery capacity between 125Ah and 250Ah to be charged. The charger is equipped with a round CEE 7/7 contour plug for Schuko sockets. All models feature a die-cast aluminum housing with resin-encapsulated electronics, ensuring that water, dirt, and oil cannot cause damage. The robust waterproof, shockproof, and fire-safe design ensures that these Blue Smart IP67 battery chargers can be used in many environments, such as a car garage, shipyard, marina, campsite, or for racing competitions. The charger features a switching wire (orange) that allows an immobilizer to be implemented using a relay. The switching wire is active the moment the plug is in the socket; this way, you can never drive away while the battery is still charging! Recovery of deeply discharged 'dead' batteries. Unlike other brands, the Blue Smart IP67 Waterproof charger attempts to recharge a deeply discharged battery by forcibly charging it with a low voltage. Normal charging then resumes as soon as sufficient voltage is present at the battery terminals. Remote battery status monitoring. The five-stage adaptive intelligent charging algorithm handles charging using an algorithm of bulk charging, absorption charging, reconditioning, trickle charging, and storage. Also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries. LiFePO₄ batteries are charged using a simple algorithm of bulk charging, absorption charging, and trickle charging. Storage mode: Reduced maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use. Storage mode is activated if the battery is not discharged for 24 hours. In this case, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to 'recharge' the battery. This prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the main cause of premature battery failure. Protected against overheating. Can be used in a warm environment such as a machine room. The output current decreases as the temperature rises to 60 ºC, but the charger does not switch off.
