The Victron BlueSmart IP67 24V 12A (1+Si) waterproof battery charger CEE 7/7 is designed for charging 24V battery systems from 230VAC. This charger has a charging current of 12A, using a five-step adaptive intelligent charging algorithm, suitable for charging 24V battery systems with a battery capacity between 60Ah and 120Ah. The charger is equipped with a round CEE 7/7 contoured plug for Schuko sockets. All models feature a die-cast aluminum housing with resin-encased electronics to prevent damage from water, dirt, and oil. The robust waterproof, shockproof, and fireproof design makes these BlueSmart IP67 battery chargers suitable for use in a wide range of environments, such as car storage, shipyards, marinas, campsites, or racing events. The battery is intelligently charged...for perfect condition. The seven-step charging algorithm gets the most out of your battery. The charger provides the battery with the power it needs, keeps it in good condition, and ensures better performance... and a longer lifespan. Immobilizer The charger has a switch wire (orange) that can be used to create an immobilizer using a relay. The switch wire is active as soon as the plug is connected to the socket, so you can never drive away while the battery is still charging! Recovery of deeply discharged 'dead' batteries Unlike other brands, the Blue Smart IP67 Waterproof Charger attempts to recharge a deeply discharged battery by force-charging it with a low voltage. Normal charging then resumes as soon as there is sufficient voltage across the battery terminals. Remote battery status monitoring The Blue Smart IP67 Waterproof has built-in Bluetooth, so the status of the charger and battery can be checked on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. All charger settings can be configured using the VictronConnect app. Bluetooth Smart Enabled: The Blue Smart IP67 Battery Charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, changing settings, and updating the charger when new features become available. Bluetooth extends the functionality of the IP67 charger, making it similar to the IP22 and IP65 chargers. Fully encapsulated: waterproof, shockproof, and ignition-proof. Water, oil, or dirt cannot damage the Blue Smart IP67 battery charger. The housing is made of die-cast aluminum, and the electronics are encased in resin. The highest efficiency ever! A new industry standard: with an efficiency of 92% or more, these chargers waste three to four times less. Furthermore, power consumption drops to less than one watt when the battery is fully charged, approximately five to ten times better than the industry standard. Adaptive 5-stage charging algorithm: The Blue Smart battery charger features microprocessor-controlled adaptive battery management. This adaptive function automatically optimizes the charging process based on how the battery is being used. The five-stage adaptive intelligent charge algorithm provides charging with a sequence of bulk, absorption, reconditioning, float, and storage. Also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries. LiFePO₄ batteries are charged with a simple bulk, absorption, and float algorithm. Storage mode: Reduced maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use. Storage mode is activated if the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In that case, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to "top up" the battery. This prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the main cause of premature battery failure. Protected against overheating. Can be used in hot environments such as an engine room. The output current decreases as the temperature rises to 60 ºC, but the charger does not shut down. Two LEDs provide status indication. Yellow LED: bulk charge (fast flashing), absorption charge (slow flashing), trickle charge (steady on), storage charge (off). Green LED: power on.
