Victron BlueSolar MPPT 100/20 (12/24/48V) Applications The only one in this series that also operates on 48V, with up to 1160 W panel power. For motorhomes, boats, garden sheds, and off-grid cabinets, and for 48V installations where a compact MPPT controller suffices. Operates on 12V, 24V, and 48V. Automatic voltage detection across all three system voltages. Maximum PV power 290 W at 12V, 580 W at 24V, and 1160 W at 48V, with a maximum PV open-circuit voltage of 100 V. The charging current is 20 A at all three voltages. Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking. In cloudy conditions and varying light intensity, an ultra-fast MPPT controller delivers up to 30% more energy than a PWM controller and up to 10% more than slower MPPT controllers. Maximum efficiency 98%. Programmable charging algorithm. Every morning, a new charging cycle starts according to the three-step process: bulk, absorption, and trickle. Absorption 14.4 V, 28.8 V, or 57.6 V; trickle 13.8 V, 27.6 V, or 55.2 V, all adjustable. In addition to the standard profiles, custom settings are possible. BatteryLife: If the controller cannot fully charge the battery bank every day, BatteryLife slightly increases the load cut-off level daily until the output is sufficient for a nearly full charge again. Subsequently, the level is modulated so that the battery bank reaches nearly 100% approximately weekly. Load output: Up to 20 A at 12V and 24V. Note: at 48V, the load output is limited to 1 A and serves as a control output for a relay. Configurable via VE.Direct and short-circuit protected. Internal temperature sensor. Compensates absorption and drop voltage for temperature at -16 mV/°C at 12V, -32 mV/°C at 24V, and -64 mV/°C at 48V. Street lighting function. With the Streetlight function, you control night lighting, including timing and dimming. Sunset and sunrise are the anchor points, allowing the program to automatically adjust to the seasons. VE.Direct. Wired data connection to a GX device as a communication center, a PC, or other equipment. A VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle or a VE.Direct to USB interface is required for setup and data retrieval. Mounting and connection. Terminals up to 6 mm² (AWG10).
