Victron BlueSolar PWM-Light 12/24V-20A Applications For PV installations where the panel is directly matched to the battery voltage: outdoor lighting, pasture fencing, meter boxes, log cabins, trailers, or charging a service bank. PWM charge control * Three-stage charging: bulk, absorption, and trickle — not programmable * Absorption 14.2 V (12V) / 28.4 V (24V), trickle 13.8 V / 27.6 V * Self-consumption less than 10 mA Automatic voltage detection Automatically recognizes whether it is a 12V or 24V battery bank. Maximum solar voltage 28 V for 12V and 55 V for 24V. Use a 36-cell panel for 12V and a 72-cell panel or two 36-cell panels in series for 24V. When to use PWM and when to use MPPT PWM requires a panel voltage close to the battery voltage. If the panel voltage is higher or you wish to use longer strings, choose an MPPT charger.
