Adjustable switching profiles allow for matching to your charging source, from alternator to battery charger or solar charger. 400 A continuous, 2000 A peak This relay switches up to 400 A continuously and briefly withstands 2000 A for 1 second. This makes it suitable for installations where heavy starting currents also flow through the coupling. Adjustable switching profiles The relay has four adjustable profiles, numbered 0 through 3, each with its own switching on and off voltages and times. This allows you to match the switching behavior to the charging regime of your alternator, battery charger, or solar charger. Virtually no voltage loss Unlike a diode distributor, this relay switches through the battery banks hard. Practically no charging voltage is lost, allowing both battery banks to reach their full charging voltage. Start assist: Use the push button to manually connect the battery banks in parallel for 30 seconds. Enough to start the service battery bank even with a dead starter battery. Automatic voltage detection and protection: * Input range 8 to 36 V DC, automatically detects whether the system is 12 or 24 V * Bidirectional voltage measurement from both battery banks * Priority for the starter battery * Overheating protection, switches off at excessive temperature * Quiescent current 4 mA in open position. Note regarding Euro 5 and Euro 6: Not suitable for Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines with an intelligent alternator.
