Victron Cyrix-Lithium Load Relay 12/24V-120A Victron Cyrix-Lithium Load Relay 12/24V-120A Applications For lithium installations where consumers must be hard-off as soon as the battery management system threatens to detect deep discharge. This keeps the LiFePO4 battery bank within its safe window, even when the installation is unattended. Separating consumers, not charge sources This relay is positioned between the LiFePO4 battery bank and the consumers. It is controlled by the load disconnect output of the VE.Bus BMS and disconnects the load as soon as that signal drops. This makes it the counterpart to the charge relay, which disconnects the charge source. Disconnection The relay drops out as soon as the control input becomes floating freely, the signal from the battery management system when the cell voltage is too low. Additionally, it switches off based on battery voltage: * Between 11.5 and 11.0 V: after 10 seconds * Below 10.5 V: immediately Automatic restart If the battery voltage recovers after the load has been switched off, the BMS output goes high again and the relay re-engages after 30 seconds. After three failed attempts, it remains switched off until the battery voltage is above 13 V or 26 V for at least 30 seconds, indicating that the battery bank is actually being charged.
