Victron Filax-2 230V/50Hz-240V/60Hz Automatic Transfer Switch On boats, in motorhomes, and in emergency power systems, the voltage must not drop as soon as shore power or the generator fails. The transition to the inverter takes place within 20 milliseconds, ensuring that navigation equipment, computers, network equipment, and measuring equipment continue to operate without interruption. Ultra-fast switching The maximum switching time is 16 ms. Connected equipment does not detect the switch between the two AC sources and does not restart. This makes it the ideal solution for equipment that cannot tolerate power interruptions. Monitoring of the priority source The priority source is continuously monitored for voltage and frequency. At 230V/50Hz, switching occurs below 180 Vac and outside the frequency window of 45 to 60 Hz. Switching back to the priority source only occurs after a delay of 30 seconds, so that an unstable generator or a fluctuating shore power connection does not lead to back-and-forth switching. Two AC sources, one output. Connect shore power or a generator as the priority source and an inverter as the alternative source. If the priority source fails, the alternative source takes over the load; if the priority source returns, it switches back automatically. Not intended for heavy loads. Washing machines, electric motors, and similar heavy consumers fall outside the scope of application.
