Victron GX GSM 4G internet dongle Victron GX LTE 4G-E Mobile modem for the Victron GX series that provides the system with internet via 2G, 3G, and 4G, thereby connecting to the VRM Portal. The E version is optimized for the network bands in EMEA, Korea, and Thailand. A GPS receiver is built-in; with the optional active GPS antenna, the system can be tracked and geofenced on VRM. Applications Wherever there is no fixed internet connection, this modem brings the installation online: one SIM card and the system is on VRM within minutes. For installers, this means diagnosing faults remotely instead of driving back and forth, and performing firmware updates without leaving the premises. The optional active GPS antenna is required for use; the position is then visible on the VRM and a geofence can be set up. Installation * Fixed USB cable with USB-A connector to the GX device * Power supply 8-70 VDC via the supplied DC cable with cable lugs and inline fuse (T3.15A 250V) * Two SMA connectors: LTE and GPS * Small indoor antenna included; do not place the modem behind metal * Requires Venus OS v2.60 or newer on the GX device Note: Internet sharing This modem exclusively provides the internet connection for the GX device. If laptops, phones, or other devices need to piggyback, or if failover is desired, choose a mobile router instead of this modem.
