Victron Lithium Battery 12.8V/100Ah NG Lithium iron phosphate battery for service batteries or energy storage in vessels, vehicles, industrial and infrastructure installations, even in dusty or wet areas thanks to the IP65 housing. Cells, temperature, and current are digitally transmitted to a Battery Management System NG, which controls chargers and consumers. The housing can be opened for repair. Battery voltage Nominal voltage 12.8V and 100Ah at 25°C, equivalent to 1280Wh. Continuous discharge up to 100A and 200A for 10 seconds, with a final discharge voltage of 11.2V. When connected in series, the battery can also be used in 24V and 48V battery banks. The self-discharge is a maximum of 3% per month at 25°C. Battery charger Charging voltage 14.0-14.2V and float voltage 13.5V. Charging at continuous 100A and 200A for 10 seconds, only between +5 and +50°C. Lifecycle 2500 cycles at 80% DoD, 3000 at 70%, and 5000 at 50%, with less than 1% capacity loss per 100 cycles at 25°C. Round-trip efficiency 92%. Connectable: Maximum of 50 batteries per system in 12V or 24V, regardless of the BMS NG used. The battery only works with a Victron BMS NG: the Lynx Smart BMS NG (500A or 1000A), the smallBMS NG, or the VE.Bus BMS NG for MultiPlus and Quattro. The BMS issues a pre-alarm below 3.0V per cell, switches off consumers below 2.8V, and stops charging above 3.6V. Not to be confused with Lithium Smart batteries without the NG designation. Construction: LiFePO4 cells with digital measurement of cell voltages, cell temperatures, and battery current, in an IP65 housing with a screw-openable lid. The firmware is automatically updated by the BMS. Bluetooth is located in the BMS, not the battery. Mounting: Mount upright or on its side, never with the terminals facing downwards, using the supplied brackets or a tension strap. M8 screw inserts with bolts, tightening torque 10 Nm, using insulated tools. In series, only batteries with the same capacity and the same part number, a maximum age difference of 3 years, and each must first be fully charged individually with a BMS-controlled charger. Select the cable and fuse based on the maximum system current. Communication: Fast digital communication with the BMS via a 50 cm male and female cable with an M8 round connector; longer M8 cables of 1-5 meters are available separately.
