Victron Lithium Battery 12.8V/100Ah Smart. This lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery features built-in Bluetooth, cell balancing, and cell monitoring. With 1280 Wh of storage in a compact, lightweight housing, this is the logical successor to the lead-acid battery in yachts, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, and off-grid installations. The battery consists of four 3.2 V LFP cells in series. Why lithium iron phosphate? * Robust: LFP does not sulfate. The battery does not need to be fully charged; partial charging does not shorten the lifespan, but even slightly extends it. Ideal for systems that rarely reach 100%. * Compact and lightweight: saves up to 70% space and up to 70% weight compared to lead. * Efficient: low internal resistance (0.8 mΩ) and high efficiency, even with shallow discharge. * Long service life: 2,500 cycles at 80% DoD, 3,000 cycles at 70% DoD, and 5,000 cycles at 50% DoD, with a capacity loss of less than 1% per 100 cycles. Bluetooth and VictronConnect The built-in Bluetooth provides direct insight into cell voltages, temperature, and alarm status via the free VictronConnect app. Key data is already visible in the device list without connecting. This allows you to quickly detect an incipient cell imbalance or a problem in the battery bank. Cell balancing and monitoring Each cell is monitored and balanced individually. The balancing and monitoring cables are daisy-chained between the batteries and terminated on a Victron BMS. Connection is made via M8 round connectors with a cable length of 50 cm (male + female included). BMS required A Victron BMS is required for every battery bank.
