Victron Lithium Battery 12.8V/100Ah Smart. For installations where deep discharge occurs daily: motorhomes, yachts, off-grid homes, and professional work vehicles. Delivers 1280 Wh in a compact housing, accepts a 200 A charging current, and lasts 2,500 cycles at 80% discharge depth. Switchable to 12, 24, or 48 V system voltage. LiFePO4 cell chemistry. Lithium iron phosphate is the safest and most stable lithium chemistry. The battery delivers 100 Ah at 25 °C, 80 Ah at 0 °C, and 50 Ah at -20 °C, with a round-trip efficiency of 92%. Capacity and energy loss remains below 1% per 100 cycles at 100% discharge depth. Built-in cell balancing and monitoring. Each cell has its own balancing and monitoring circuit. The balance cables are daisy-chainable and connect to the battery management system, which performs three functions: pre-alarm when the cell voltage drops below 3.1 V, load shutdown below 2.8 V, and charging interruption above 3.75 V or outside the permissible temperature range. External BMS required. This battery may only be used with a Victron-approved battery management system. Without a BMS, protection against overcharging and deep discharging is voided, and with it, the warranty. Suitable models include the VE.Bus BMS V2, the Smart BMS 12/200, the Smart BMS CL 12-100, and the Lynx Smart BMS series. Bluetooth and VictronConnect. Individual cell voltages, battery temperature, and alarm status can be read directly via the VictronConnect app on a smartphone or tablet. This is convenient during commissioning and for detecting an anomalous cell, without the need for a display or communication center. Switchable up to 48 V. The batteries can be connected in series, parallel, and series/parallel for 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V systems. A maximum of 20 batteries may be included in a single system.
