Applications: Without external current measurement, the inverter-charger only knows what is flowing through itself — and therefore not how much can still be drawn from the connection. With this measuring coil, you move the measurement point to the main connection, so that PowerAssist kicks in before the main fuse blows and self-consumption is truly optimized.
