Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V For yachts, expedition vessels, and 120V off-grid homes using both shore power and battery power. The inverter takes over seamlessly during a power outage, charges the battery bank while on shore power, and tops up an insufficient shore connection. Inverter and charger in one. The unit delivers 2400 W continuously at 25 °C, 2200 W at 40 °C, and 1700 W at 65 °C, with a peak of 5500 W for engine and compressor starting currents. As a charger, it delivers a maximum of 120 A to a 12V battery bank, with a separate temperature sensor for correct charging voltage. PowerAssist If the shore connection is insufficient for what is running on board, PowerAssist makes up the deficit from the battery. This allows an air conditioner or hob to run even on a low-power connection without tripping the shore fuse. Conversely, PowerControl limits the charging current as soon as other consumers load the connection. Transfer switch The built-in 50 A transfer switch switches to battery operation within a few milliseconds in the event of a mains failure. Connected equipment will not notice this, which is important for navigation, cooling, and computers.
