Victron MultiPlus-II 12/5000/220-50 Applications Developed for energy storage, off-grid installations, and grid-connected PV. The unit delivers 4000 W continuously from a 12 V battery bank, charges at 220 A, and switches over within 20 ms in the event of a grid failure. This makes it suitable for yachts, motorhomes, work vehicles, and compact ESS setups. PowerControl and PowerAssist Prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, the charging current is regulated down; subsequently, the inverter supplements the deficit from the battery bank. This allows heavy consumers to operate even on a small shore or generator connection. ESS: Energy Storage System Core of the Victron ESS.
