Applications The PWM-Pro is ready for operation as standard, but those wishing to adjust charging parameters or lighting control can only do so with this panel. Furthermore, the built-in battery monitor function only becomes visible once the panel is connected. Separate icons indicate undervoltage and deep discharge, plus the status of the load output. For a correct charge state, the battery capacity must be set and all consumers must be connected to the load output. A warning LED flashes in the event of a fault of the connected charge controller; the audible alarm can be switched on or off. A separate LED indicates the communication status. Settings * Battery type: gel, sealed (AGM), flooded, or user-defined * Battery capacity and temperature compensation * System voltage: automatic, 12 V, or 24 V * All charging voltages: absorption, trickle, equalization, and restart voltage * Undervoltage warning and load shutdown with restart levels * Absorption and equalization duration * Date, time, and backlight duration * Restore factory settings and read fault information. Changing settings requires a password, which is stored in the charge controller. Load output: four operating modes * Manual operation – the output is switched using the button on the charge controller; low-voltage shutdown remains active. This is the default setting. * Light on/off – switches based on PV voltage, with an adjustable confirmation time to prevent unwanted switching. * Light on + timer – a set burn time after sunset and before sunrise; the controller automatically adjusts the night duration. * Time control – one or two fixed switch-on periods based on the internal clock. Connection and mounting The panel is connected to the charge controller using a standard RJ45 UTP cable, up to a maximum of 20 meters. The power supply runs through the same cable.
