Solid cast 316 stainless steel withstands salt and splash water, and the lockable lid closes the contact opening as soon as the shore power cable is disconnected. 316 Stainless Steel for Outdoor Installation The lid is made of solid cast 316 stainless steel, the quality used at sea. In combination with IP56, the inlet remains touch-safe and water-resistant, even on a deck or on the exterior of a superstructure.
