Victron Skylla-i 24/100 (1+1) A heavy-duty 24 V shore power charger for yachts, workboats, and vehicles where both the service bank and the starter battery need to be powered without connecting them. 100 A charging current, operation via VE.Can, and an aluminium housing for fixed installation. Two separate outputs for service bank and starter battery. The main output delivers the full 100 A to the service bank. The second output is limited to approximately 4 A and operates at a slightly lower voltage, ensuring the starter battery remains charged without the two battery banks becoming electrically connected. Both outputs are galvanically isolated. 7-stage adaptive charging algorithm. For lead-acid batteries, the Skylla-i charges according to a 7-stage adaptive algorithm with absorption at 28.8 V, float at 27.6 V, and storage at 26.4 V. The included temperature sensor automatically reduces the charging voltage as the battery temperature rises. A 3-stage algorithm is available for lithium, controlled via on/off or via the CAN bus. Adjustable to any battery type: The rotary switch, DIP switches, and potentiometers allow you to tune the charger to the battery type. The output voltage range is from 20 to 36 V. Remote on/off is available and it can be connected directly to a lithium battery management system. VE.Can and NMEA2000: Two galvanically isolated RJ45 ports with NMEA2000 protocol enable data reading and operation, and allow multiple chargers to synchronize with each other. With the Skylla-i control GX panel, you limit the charging current so that the consumption from the shore connection remains within the available fuse rating. Note: If there is equipment on a 48 V battery bank in the same VE.Can network, use an RJ45 cable where pins 2 and 6 are not connected. Built for harsh environments. Aluminium housing with epoxy powder coating in RAL 5012, stainless steel fasteners, and acrylic-lacquered printed circuit boards. Protected against battery reverse polarity (fuse), output short circuit, and overtemperature. Operating temperature -20 to 60 °C at a maximum of 95% relative humidity, non-condensing. Power reduction at high ambient temperatures. Up to 40 °C ambient temperature, the charger delivers the full current. At 50 °C, it reduces to 80%, and at 60 °C to 60% of the nominal charging current.
