Victron Skylla-i 24/80 (3) A heavy-duty 24 V shore charger for yachts, workboats and vehicles with three separate battery banks. Aluminium housing, three galvanically isolated outputs and operation via VE.Can make it suitable for permanent installation on board. Three galvanically isolated outputs Each of the three outputs can deliver the full charging current; together they are limited to the nominal 80 A. Because the outputs are galvanically isolated, you charge three separate battery banks without them being interconnected. 7-stage adaptive charging algorithm For lead-acid batteries, the Skylla-i charges according to a 7-stage adaptive algorithm with absorption at 28.8 V, float at 27.6 V and storage at 26.4 V. The included temperature sensor automatically lowers the charging voltage as the battery temperature rises. For lithium, a 3-stage algorithm is available, controlled via on/off or via the CAN bus. Adjustable to any battery type. Tune the charger to the battery type using the rotary switch, DIP switches, and potentiometers. The output voltage range is from 20 to 36 V. Remote on/off is available, and it can be connected directly to a lithium battery management system. VE.Can and NMEA2000. Two galvanically isolated RJ45 ports with NMEA2000 protocol enable data reading and operation, and allow multiple chargers to synchronize with each other. With the Skylla-i control GX panel, you limit the charging current so that power consumption from the shore connection remains within the available fuse rating. Note: If there is equipment on a 48 V battery bank in the same VE.Can network, use an RJ45 cable where pins 2 and 6 are not jumpered. Built for a harsh environment. Power reduction at high ambient temperatures. Up to an ambient temperature of 40 °C, the charger delivers the full current. At 50 °C, it reduces to 80%, and at 60 °C to 60% of the nominal charging current.
