One output charges the service bank with the full 70 A, while the second output automatically maintains the starter battery's charge level without a separate isolation diode. Two isolated outputs The main output delivers the full 70 A to the service bank. The second output is limited to approximately 3 A and keeps the starter battery topped up. Both outputs are mutually isolated so that the banks do not interfere with each other. 7-stage adaptive charging algorithm The charging algorithm adjusts absorption time and charging voltage to the state of the battery bank. A separate two-stage algorithm is available for lithium iron phosphate batteries, with on/off control or control via the VE.Can bus. Waterproof Housing The steel, epoxy-powder-coated housing is protected to IP65 and resistant to heat, moisture, and salt air. The printed circuit boards are coated with acrylic lacquer to prevent corrosion. Automatic Current Control Temperature sensors monitor critical components. In extreme conditions, the charger reduces the output current instead of shutting down, ensuring charging continues. Universal Mains Input The charger operates on 120 to 240 VAC at 45 to 65 Hz, with a power factor of 0.98. This allows it to be used on virtually any shore power grid and generator power without modification. Remote Communication and Operation Two RJ45 connectors with NMEA2000 protocol enable connection to an onboard network or control panel. This allows the charge status, input current limiting, and fault messages to be viewed and configured remotely.
