Victron Skylla-TG 24/50 GMDSS 90-265V AC The Victron Skylla-TG 24/50 GMDSS is a battery charger and power supply specifically developed for GMDSS applications. This Skylla charger includes additional equipment, such as a built-in battery controller, to perform the monitoring and alarm functions required for GMDSS. GMDSS is the Global Maritime Distress & Safety System developed by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) to improve maritime emergency and safety communication. The Victron Skylla GMDSS charger is designed to provide all monitoring and alarm data. Both the battery and the GMDSS system are directly connected to the charger. Data and alarms can be displayed on a digital display (VE.Net GMDSS display, sold separately). The charger is connected to the display via a standard 8-wire UTP cable.
